Pioneers schedule first open tryout for 2007

(Wilkes-Barre, PA) The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers would like to remind everyone that they will be holding their first open tryout for the upcoming 2007 season on Sunday November 5, 2006. The tryout will take place at the Wyoming Valley Sports Dome. All media and Pioneers' fans are more than welcome to attend.
The tryout will start at 1:00 p.m. and registration will begin promptly at noon with a registration fee of $50. Coach Ingold will be testing athletes on the 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, and individual and group drills. Coach recommends that all participants come prepared in proper attire including field turf spikes and shorts.
