Saturday's Season Finale at Rochester: The final game of the 2003 Pioneers season is this Saturday, July 26th at division rivals the Rochester Brigade. The Pioneers are 2-0 against Rochester this season. You can listen to the game LIVE on WILK - 910 AM Scranton, 980 AM Wilkes-Barre, and 1300 AM Hazleton.
Final Radio Show: Tomorrow (Thursday, July 24) is the final Coach's Show of the 2003 season. Call (570) 883-0098 and voice your opinion. You can check out the Season Wrap-up Show (and get the scoop on team strategy for the Rochester game) on WILK - 910 AM Scranton, 980 AM Wilkes-Barre, and 1300 AM Hazleton at 8PM.
Booster Club End-of-the-Season Banquet: Thank you to the Booster Club for an incredible end-of-the-season player dinner. The team and staff were in attendance on Monday, July 21st for Booster end-of-the-year awards, a great dinner and dancing (you haven't seen anything until you've seen the team do the hustle and team trainer Bob Stelma boogie to "Brick House"). Booster Club Awards were given to Booster Team MVP Cosmo DeMatteo and Booster Iron Man Award Kevin Nagle.
Upcoming Appearances: Members of the dance team and Crockett will be at the following events on Saturday: The Wyoming Valley Drug and Alcohol Parade (10am parade) and Kistler Kids Day (Noon). Hope to see you there!
Thank You: Thanks to everyone who attended the event at Rich's Golf and Fun Center in Wyoming. The team had a blast and raised $550 for the United Way/Pioneers Charity Foundation. If you did not get a chance to stop by on Sunday, be sure to check out Rich's with your family whenever you have a chance. They've got it all: Water Bumper Cars, Miniature Golf, Batting Cages, Driving Range and a Skate Board Park.
