Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers News Release
Team News: What a Game! The Pioneers are celebrating the first winning streak of the season after the 50-49 victory at Richmond on Saturday. Appearance News: It's the Pioneers first mid-season bye week, and the team is enjoying it in style. On Wednesday, join most of the team and dance team at a very relaxing gathering at Pocono Downs. The team will be there to enjoy the harness racing, hospitality and good food. If you are looking for something to do on Wednesday, stop in and say hello. The Pioneers will be there rain or shine (and the harness racing takes place regardless of the weather). You'll find the team outside if it's not raining -- and inside the Club Lounge if the weather doesn't cooperate. Pocono Downs has generously offered to let Pioneers fans hang with the players. $1 entry fee. Plan on making a night of the event. Reserve your spot, and enjoy $5.99 Prime Rib at the Club Lounge.
