Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers News Release
Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Pony Express, the official dance team of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers, will hold a dance clinic on Saturday, July 13th from 12:00pm-5:00pm at the First Union Arena for girls ages seven through twelve.
"We want our young female fans to experience what it's like to be a member of the Pony Express," said Jennifer Harris, Director of Choreography for the Pioneers and owner of the Joan Harris Centre for the Gifted/Talented. "These young ladies will be able to see what goes into a performance and get a behind-the-scenes look at game-day preparations." The cost for the clinic is $30.00. Included in the price will be the clinic fee, a ticket for that night's game against the Mohegan Wolves, lunch, and a Pioneers t-shirt. In addition, participants will perform on the field with the Pony Express during the Pioneers' halftime show. Tickets for family members interested in attending the game will also be offered at a reduced rate.
