
Pioneers Assigned Northern Arizona Player

Wilkes-Barre, PA- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers have been assigned Doug Harding from Northern Arizona University for their 2006 season.
In his first year at NAU, Harding 6'1 250 pounds, saw action in all 11 games recording 23 tackles with six for a loss including three quarterback sacks.
In 2003, Harding's second year with NAU, he started all 13 games and had 42 tackles with 9.5 for a loss including 7.5 quarterback sacks. He also had two forced fumbles, four pass deflections and two fumble recoveries.
"Doug was one of the last cut for the Philadelphia Soul and he comes highly recommended by the Soul coaching staff." said Head Coach Rich Ingold, "He is are kind of guy, a tough kid from Buffalo New York."
