Wilkes-Barre, PA- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce that Mark Graham has been assigned to the team's 2005 roster. Graham spent 2004 training camp with the Buffalo Bills.
Graham, a 6'0 204 lb wide receiver/defensive back, played cornerback and free safety for the University of Buffalo Bulls from 2000-2003. Graham is the Bull's all-time leader in passes defended with 37. He is also tied for third in career solo tackles with 182, tied for fourth in career interceptions with 12, fourth in turnovers recovered with 15 and ninth in total tackles with 266. He was a second team All-MAC selection after his senior season, ranked fourth in the MAC and 15th in the nation.
Graham attended Monroe High School outside Detroit, MI. While there he set the school record for most pass interceptions in a season with 6, the highest punt return average of 27.6 yards per carry, the longest punt return of 82 yards, the most kickoff return yardage in a season with 332, the most kickoff returns for touchdowns with 3, the highest kickoff return average of 41.1 yards and longest kickoff return of 91 yards. He was an All-League and All-County selection, a Second-team Detroit News and All-Metro West selection.
