Pioneers Add Wilkes University Grad to 2006 Roster

Wilkes-Barre, PA- The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce the arenafootball2 league office has assigned Julian Morales to their 2006 season.
Julian Morales, a Defensive Lineman, was a four-year starter at Wilkes University from 2001-2004. Morales was a three-time All Middle Atlantic Conference selection. He was a 2003 Regional All American and a 2003 ECAC first team selection. Morales had 106 tackles and 4.5 sacks during his career. In 2003 Julian scored three defensive touchdowns, two on fumble returns and one on an interception return. Julian is currently serving as a Graduate Assistant with the Wilkes football program.
"Julian is a big guy that can really move. I was very impressed with how quick he is for his size, said Head Coach Rich Ingold "It's great to get such a quality player and person locally from a fine program at Wilkes University."
