Pioneers Add Their Final Pitchers

The Elmira Pioneers announced that they are adding seven pitchers to the roster. The Pioneers welcome Joe Sinopoli (Cornell University), Mike Kazley (Cornell University), John Koch (Arkansas State University), Matt Neidzwiecki (Manchester CC), Mike Mahaffey (Marietta College), Kevin Wilman (University of Northern Colorado), and Jay Ferri (University of Rhode Island.

Coach Dan Shwam says, "We had five pitchers go down this spring and we are lucky to have found some real quality arms".

The Pioneers Opening their season Thursday June 9th where they will take on the Cooperstown Hawkeyes. This Thursday kicks off the first Thirsty Thursday of the season where all beverages are a dollar. Come early to enjoy the pregame concert and stick around after the game for the postgame fireworks put on by the City of Elmira.
