Colorado Mammoth News Release

DENVER - Former University of Denver Pioneer Jeremy Noble was acquired by the Colorado Mammoth on Friday from the Rochester Knighthawks in exchange for future draft picks. Noble, the second-overall selection in the 2014 NLL Entry Draft, lives in Denver.

The right-hander was a three-time All-America selection at DU and was named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year in 2014. He set a Pioneer record as a senior, averaging 1.89 assists per game. Last summer, Noble was the offensive leader of Team Canada when it won the gold medal at the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships.

"Jeremy has all the tools you look for," said Colorado president & general manager Steve Govett. "Not only is he a solid lacrosse player; he's a tremendous leader, and one who embraces the role. I couldn't be more excited for his Mammoth debut on Sunday against the Swarm."

Noble, whose twin brother, Jason, plays for Minnesota, grew up with Colorado goaltender Dillon Ward. Jeremy has yet to play in the NLL.

With the acquisition, the Mammoth now has three of the first seven players selected in this past year's draft. Forward Eli McLaughlin was the fourth-overall selection. Defenseman Robert Hope was taken three picks later.

Colorado sent its first-round selections in 2016 and 2017 to Rochester for Noble, as well as the third-round pick in this year's draft. The Knighthawks gave the Mammoth their third-round selection in 2017.

Tickets to the Mammoth's St. Patrick's Celebration game against the Swarm this Sunday at 6pm on HealthONE Field at Pepsi Center are on sale now.
