Waldorf, MD - The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs are inviting fans to the 2026 Fan Fest, offering Crustacean Nation their very first opportunity to experience a full ballgame and the team's exciting new fan enhancements at Blue Crabs Stadium.

This special event features free admission, but fans must claim their tickets in advance online at www.bluecrabsbaseball.com/individualgametickets. All season ticket plans, including Silver Slugger, 14-game, and half-season plans, have already had tickets for this event loaded into their account. Gates open at 2:00 PM, with the first pitch scheduled for 5:30 PM.

Highlights of the day include:

A Q&A session at 2:30 PM with General Manager Christian Heimall and Manager Brett Jodie. Fans can submit questions in advance through the team's "Fan First Friday" on April 10th on Instagram or Facebook @somdbluecrabs.

Batting practice on the field begins at 3:30 PM, giving fans a unique up-close view of the action.

A special exhibition game pitting the Blue Crabs against a select team of players from Indy Ball Jobs, providing an exciting competitive showcase.

"I'm so excited to welcome everyone to get their first glimpse of Blue Crabs baseball on April18th," Blue Crabs General Manager Christian Heimall said. "This is not just about the guys on the field but a chance to really experience what coming to a game in 2026 will be about."

The event serves as a perfect preview of the 2026 Blue Crabs season, allowing fans to enjoy baseball, great NEW concessions, and memorable moments with family and friends.
