Iowa Cubs News Release
On Saturday, April 4 the Iowa Cubs are holding National Anthem tryouts from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and are also hosting a Pick Your Seat Picnic at Principal Park from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. No appointments are necessary. Fans who would like to sing the National Anthem during the 2009 season will audition on the field with a microphone, just like if it were during a game. Fans interested in becoming season ticket holders for the 2009 season are invited to come to the ballpark and view available seats.
Fans may test-drive the view from a seat that can become theirs while enjoying lunch on the Iowa Cubs from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Come see the view from which you could watch all of the Iowa Cubs' home games this season. There is no catch if you don't like the view, we'll still provide a lunch of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and pop.
"We want our fans to be able to preview their potential seat before they commit to sitting there for the entire season. Even though there won't be a game going on, fans will still be able to get a feel for the view they can enjoy for 71 days this summer," said Iowa Cubs General Manager Sam Bernabe.
Iowa Cubs representatives will be on hand to answer questions and fill orders, rain or shine. Fans are allowed to turn in any unused season tickets for general admission tickets to a game later in the season. Additionally, a free parking pass will be provided with the purchase of Club Box tickets and Upper Box tickets.
Season ticket prices are as follows:
Club Box Seats $475
Season Upper Box (Section 10) $475
