Bees Announce 2009 Ticket Pricing and Promotional Schedule

Salt Lake City (March 30, 2009) - Tickets are on sale now for the 2009 Salt Lake Bees baseball season at Ticketmaster outlets including www.slbees.com, select Albertsons and Macey's Stores, FYE at Provo Towne Center, Thanksgiving Point or by calling (801) 325-SEAT. The Bees box office also opens on March 30.
"We are proud to offer one of the best entertainment values in town and our commitment to the fans is evident in our ticket pricing and exciting new promotions," said Bees general manager Marc Amicone. "We encourage everyone to take advantage of an affordable, family-friendly Bees game beginning with the season opener at home on April 9."
In addition to single game tickets, the Bees will continue to offer two season passes along with season ticket packages. The Family Pass ($199.50) admits a household to all 72 home games. The Student Pass ($35.50) can be purchased by any student currently enrolled in elementary school, middle school, high school or college and is good for admission to all 72 home games.
Other ticket packages offered include group tickets and picnics, birthday parties, ticket vouchers, 10-game weekend plans and luxury suites. For specific benefits included in these packages, please log on to www.slbees.com or call (801) 325-BASE.
To kick off the 2009 promotional schedule, H&R Block is giving away magnetic schedules on opening night, April 9. Other giveaways during the season include, kids and adult T-shirts courtesy of Zero Fatalities, batting helmets courtesy of Zions Bank, backpacks courtesy of SNAP, and a Bees baseball card set courtesy of Papa John's.
New promotional nights for the season include Free Money Night on April 25, Win a Million Night on May 6, Beetlemania/Ringo Bingo on May 30, Hollywood Stars on June 16, Jimmy Buffet Night on July 9, Elvis Night on August 6 and Ferris Buehler's Day Off on September 7.
Among this season's weekday promotions are Harmon's Family Night on Mondays where fans can purchase single tickets for $3; on Tuesdays, kids 12 and under eat free and on Thursdays all beverages are $2.50. The Bees will also feature The Famous Chicken entertainment act on July 11 and August 8.
There are nine Bees games with fireworks this season including May 29, June 5, July 4, July 5, July 23, July 24, July 25, August 22 and September 5. Fireworks are presented by Larry H. Miller Chevrolet, Larry H. Miller Honda, Larry H. Miller Ford, Larry H. Miller Toyota, Larry H. Miller Collision Centers and Champion Ford.
