PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Fighting Falcons, proud members of the North American Hockey League, will unveil their new jerseys for the 2012-13 season at "Pick Your Seat Night," on Wednesday, August 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at McMorran Arena.
"Pick Your Seat Night" is a free event that gives fans the opportunity to pick out their seats and place their orders for 2013-14 season tickets. Current season ticket holders can pick up their tickets for the season as well.
In addition to the unveiling of the team's new jerseys, "Pick Your Seat Night" also marks the first look at the VIP suites the team has worked with McMorran Arena to add to their ticket offerings for the 2013-14 season. Fighting Falcons' staff will be on hand to take orders for VIP suites.
"This event is a great way to share our excitement for the new season with our fans," said Fighting Falcons Head Coach and General Manager Michael Gershon. "We want to give fans a chance to see the changes we've been working on with our jerseys and the VIP suites, and the chance to meet our team."
Giveaways will take place every half hour throughout the event. The first drawing is for the opportunity to watch warm-ups from the team's bench or drop the ceremonial first puck during the team's home opener against the Michigan Warriors Saturday, September 28 at 7 p.m. All fans in attendance can enter this contest.
The winner of the night's second drawing will go home with an autographed piece of game-used Fighting Falcons equipment. All fans in attendance can enter to win this prize.
Any fan that orders or has already ordered season tickets for 2013 will be entered into the final drawing of the night, with the winner taking home a newly-designed Fighting Falcons jersey. Winners must be present at the time of each drawing to claim their prize.
The entire 2013 training camp roster as well as team coaches will be on hand signing autographs and giving out temporary tattoos and 2013-14 schedules.
The Fighting Falcons are working with McMorran Arena to provide snacks throughout the event. Further details will be released before the event.
Season ticket packages for 2013-14 start at just $175, and the first 25 fans to purchase two or more full season tickets will receive a free game-worn Fighting Falcons road jersey.
