Phoenix Rising FC News Release
PHOENIX, Arizona - Phoenix Rising FC kicks off the weekend with a 90's Night match against San Antonio at 38th St/Washington, tomorrow at 8 p.m.
Rising Head Coach Juan Guerra spoke with media on Thursday to discuss the matchup against the defending league champions. Despite San Antonio's recent success, Phoenix is 2-0-1 vs. the Texas side in the past two seasons.
"At the end of the day we focus on us," said Rising Head Coach Juan Guerra. "They're coming over here. They're the visitors. We're the local team. We have the responsibility to keep our identity and to be the ones that dictate the pace and the tempo of the game. We're at home. We decide how this game is going to be. Obviously we're going to do whatever we need to do in order to get a positive result and win at home."
