Philadelphia Wings News Release

The Philadelphia Wings, of the National Lacrosse League (NLL), will have four representatives on the Canadian National Lacrosse team. Captain Brodie Merrill, goalie Brandon Miller, Assistant Captain Jordan Hall, and 2013 leading scorer Kevin Crowley will represent Team Canada on Sunday, November 17 during an international exhibition game against the Iroquois Nationals.

The exhibition game between Team Canada and the Iroquois Nationals will take place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada. The game is a rematch of the 2011 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship final.

"It's quite an achievement to have four of our core players make the national team," said Team President Michael French. "We are proud of Brodie, Brandon, Jordan, and Kevin as they represent the Wings and gain international experience."

All 20 members of the roster selected by the Canadian Lacrosse Association and Team Canada Lacrosse are currently on active rosters with an NLL team. Wings transition player, Jordan Hall, will serve as a captain for the red and white. Last season Hall appeared in 16 contests for the Wings and recorded 42 points (14 goals, 28 assists).

The Philadelphia Wings will host the Buffalo Bandits at Wells Fargo Center for their 2014 season home opener on Sunday, January 12, at 4 p.m.
