
Philadelphia Wings Forward Kevin Crowley Named to NLL's All-Rookie Team

Following a season in which he led all rookies with 36 goals, Philadelphia Wings forward Kevin Crowley has been named to the National Lacrosse League's All-Rookie Team the league announced today.
The first overall pick in the 2011 NLL Draft last fall, Crowley tied with Drew Westervelt for the team lead in goals and added 35 assists on the season. In the Wings 14-13 playoff loss to the Knighthawks, Crowley led the Wings with seven points, tallying four goals and three assists.
Crowley's 71 regular season points ranked second among rookies, trailing only Colorado's Adam Jones. Crowley was also a three-time winner of the league's Rookie of the Week, tied for most in the league. The forward's rookie campaign was highlighted by his five-goal performance against the Washington Stealth in which he also scored the overtime game-winner.
