Philadelphia Wings Connect with the Community and Invite Fans to Open Practice Ahead of 2023-24 Season

November 3, 2023 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Philadelphia Wings News Release

Today, the Philadelphia Wings volunteered with local organization MANNA to distribute medically tailored meals to individuals with serious illnesses who need nourishment to heal within our local community in South Philly and Jersey. It was the players' first official community initiative as a team for the 2023-2024 season ahead of the start of training camp this weekend. PHOTOS from their visit can be found here.

On Saturday, November 4, the Philadelphia Wings will host fans at an open practice to kick off training camp at the Wings Training Center in Voorhees, New Jersey. All are welcome for the chance to see the full team practice up close, meet their favorite players, see the latest merchandise offerings, take pictures with Wings mascot Wingston, and enjoy games and concessions for the whole family. This will be the only chance for fans to catch the team in action locally before the Home Opener on Dec. 16 at Wells Fargo Center.

Wings training camp will continue in Toronto later this month. For fans looking to stay part of the action as the Wings gear up for the season, livestreams will be available on the team's social platforms and YouTube page for their scrimmages on November 12th at 12 pm against Panther City Lacrosse Club, and on November 25th at 6 pm against the Toronto Rock.

WINGS OPEN PRACTICE
