February 6, 2014 - National Lacrosse League (NLL)
Philadelphia Wings News Release
The Philadelphia Wings of the National Lacrosse League (NLL) have agreed to terms with Goalie Brandon Miller for a one-year agreement, pending league approval.
Brandon Miller was named to the NLL All-Pro Second Team last season. He appeared in 15 games and compiled 556 saves while only allowing 12.12 goals per game. Miller reached a career milestone by recording his 4,000th save in 2013.
"We are pleased that a deal could be reached with Brandon," said Head Coach Blane Harrison, in regards to having Brandon back with the team. "His signing gives us enviable depth at the goaltender position. Additionally, it will enable us to work with and develop Don Alton at a more appropriate pace."
Miller enters his fourteenth season in the league and seventh with the Wings. He is the longest active tenured member of the Philadelphia Wings for consecutive seasons.
The Wings will play back-to-back games against the Toronto Rock and Edmonton Rush this week. The Wings visit Toronto at the Air Canada Centre on Friday, February 7 at 7:30 p.m. Philadelphia hosts the undefeated Edmonton Rush at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday, February 8 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for all Wings 2014 home games are available by phone at 215-389-WING or online at WingsLAX.com.
