Philadelphia Soul host moonlight for charity

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul along with Pilot Services are joining forces for charity on board the Spirit of Philadelphia. The Harvest Moonlight Charity Dinner Cruise will take place Thursday, November 3. Soul coaches, players and dance team members will be in attendance to get the boat moving and raise funds to benefit individuals with developmental disabilities.

Soul head coach Bret Munsey will introduce members of the Soul football team including All-Arena quarterback Tony Graziani. Pilot Service's CEO Bill Morgan will kickoff the night with opening remarks followed with a performance featuring the 2006 Soulmates and musical guest Rod Blackstone.

The silent auction will include autographed items from all the Philadelphia sports teams.

Attendees will board the Spirit of Philadelphia at 6:30 p.m. with the festivities beginning at 7:00 p.m. with an open buffet. The cruise will then venture down the Delaware River from 8:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.

Handicap seating will be available on the second deck of the ship. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Pilot Services for individuals with development disabilities.

Personalized Independent Learning Opportunities and Training (PILOT) Services is a private non-profit organization that provides community support services to special needs individuals with developmental disabilities.
