
Phantoms Recall Rosario Ruggeri

PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren announced today that defenseman Rosario Ruggeri has been reassigned to the Philadelphia Phantoms from the team's ECHL affiliate, the Trenton Titans.
Ruggeri, 22, has appeared in two games for the Phantoms this season and did not register a point or penalty minutes in either contest. He was reassigned to Trenton on November 2. Since then, he has appeared in 15 games for the Titans, registering two goals and seven assists for nine points while accumulating 24 minutes in penalties.
Ruggeri has made appearances with both the Phantoms and Titans each of the last two seasons. In 2005-06, Ruggeri posted two goals and eight assists for 10 points over a 32 game span with the Titans. He also skated in two games for the Phantoms last season, but recorded no points.
Ruggeri will be available to suit up for the Phantoms Wednesday, December 12 for their game at Hartford at 7:00 PM.
The Phantoms next home game is Friday, December 15 against the Hershey Bears at the Wachovia Spectrum. The first 10,000 fans 18 and older will receive a free lottery ticket courtesy of the Pennsylvania Lottery.
