Phantoms Fan Fest Approaching

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phantoms today confirmed details for their upcoming season's kick off party. The Phantoms Fan Festival will be taking place at the Wachovia Spectrum on Wednesday, August 30th from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.

"This is an opportunity to welcome our fans back for another season and give them a chance to meet some of our players," noted Phantoms COO Frank Miceli. "We'll have players on hand from previous years and some that we expect to have on the Phantoms roster this season."

The Phantoms Fan Festival and parking for the event are free and open to the public. Along with the player autograph sessions, the evening will feature interactive games and entertainment. Fans will also have the ability to personally select seats for the 2006-07 season at the event.

Some of the players expected to be in attendance include Riley Cote, Ben Eager, Matt Ellison, Triston Grant, Martin Houle, Randy Jones, Scott Munroe, Alexandre Picard and John Slaney. Also, new head coach Craig Berube, former head coach and team captain John Stevens, and Phantoms Hall of Fame member Frank "The Animal" Bialowas will also be at the Spectrum for the Fan Festival.

The Phantoms begin the 2006-07 regular season on Friday, Oct. 6 at 7:05 PM, against the Norfolk Admirals at the Wachovia Center. The Phantoms are offering a host of new ticket plans. For information on tickets and the Fan Festival call 215-465-4522.
