Then going to the World Junior tryouts at the end of July and heading off to Yale later in August. Youngstown has helped me grow and I can't thank the coaching staff, players and billets enough for everything they've done for me!"-Curtis Hall on being drafted by the Bruins.
"Getting drafted into the NHL has been a dream of mine for a long time, so hearing my name called Saturday was incredibly exciting. I felt that my meeting with Arizona went well, so I was thrilled that they were the ones that selected me. I'm just very fortunate and excited for what the future holds."-Michael Callahan on being drafted by the Coyotes.
The 2018 NHL Draft marks the fifth year in a row the Phantoms have had a draft pick; the fourth year in which the Phantoms have had multiple picks in the draft; and the second year in a row the Phantoms have had a player selected by Arizona (Michael Karow, 2017 5th round, 126 overall).
