Peterborough Petes General Manager David Reid trimmed down the Petes Training Camp Roster to 33 players (18 forwards, 11 defence and 4 goaltenders) following Saturday night's Annual Maroon vs. White game.

Of the 33 players remaining, 8 will leave for NHL Training Camps this week including Goaltender Mike Morrison (L.A.), defencemen Peter Ceresnak (NYR) and forwards Matt Puempel (OTT), Austin Watson (NASH), Alan Quine (DET), Derek Mathers (PHI), Andrew Yogan (NYR) and Luke Hietkamp (CAR).

The remaining forwards include Andrew Yogan (1991), Luke Hietkamp (1993), Joey Sullivan (1994), Matt Puempel (1993), Dylan Fitze (1992), Lino Martschini (1993), Derek Mathers (1993), Kurt Gowdy (1993), Geoff Bezruchko (1993), Jeff Swift (1992), Austin Watson (1992), Stephen Pierog (1994), Joey West (1991), Nick Ritchie (1995), Stephen Nosad (1995) and Alan Quine (1993).

Remaining defence are Cole Murduff (1993), Clark Seymour (1993), Steven Varga (1995), Petert Ceresnak (1993), Mike Claffey (1992), Trevor Murphy (1995), Nick Trecapelli (1991), Steven Trojanovic (1993), Scott Coghlin (1994), Connor Boland (1994) and Slater Koekkoek (1994).

Remaining goaltenders are Mike Morrison (1992), Andrew D'Agostini (1993), Michael Giugovaz (1995) and Keinan Brown (1993).
