Great Lakes Loons News Release

The Los Angels Dodgers have announced that Great Lakes Loons outfielder James Peterson has been placed on the disabled list with a lower back injury. First baseman David Sutherland has been added to the Loons' active roster.

Peterson is hitting .347 with seven doubles and 17 RBIs. He has recorded an RBI in each of his last six games. He left yesterday's 7-3 win over the Lansing Lugnuts after feeling pain running the bases.

Sutherland is hitting .216 with a homer and nine RBIs.

Sutherland will be active for tonight's game between the Loons and the Lugnuts. Game time is 7:05pm. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Lance Parrish bobblehead doll, courtesy of Health Plus of Michigan. Gates open at 6pm.
