With Smiley on the bench in favor of an extra attacker, The Surge battled for the equalizer, but Brent Clarke scored into the empty net with 22 seconds let to seal the win for Pensacola.

The Surge will host the Huntsville Havoc Sunday afternoon at 3:05 p.m. at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. It is also the annual Pink in the Rink fundraiser, presented by Garden Park Medical Center, Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, and WLOX-TV. During the game, Surge players will wear special pink jerseys. Following the game, fans are invited to the Cameillia Ballroom at Beau Rivage to meet the team and bid on the game worn jerseys. A portion of the proceeds of the jersey auction will go to the American Cancer Society, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
