July 27, 2018 - United Soccer League Championship (USL)
Penn FC News Release
Penn FC will finish the 2018 regular season with nine consecutive home matches between Sept. 8 and Oct. 13. In that stretch, Rush Soccer's First Team will host several great events and theme nights at FNB Field on City Island.
The Homestretch will open with Hometown Heroes Night on Sept. 8 when Penn FC hosts Atlanta United 2. The team will honor local police, firefighters, first responders and military personnel at the match. Sept. 8 will also be a Youth Soccer Night when youth players will have the chance to play at Skyline Sports Complex.
On Wednesday, Sept. 12, Penn FC will host the Indy Eleven on College Night. For $15, college students of legal drinking can purchase a ticket to the match and receive one complimentary beer at our pre-match tailgate party. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available at the tailgate.
The next home match, Sunday Sept. 16, will be Faith Night at FNB Field. There will also be another pre-match party and free clinic at Skyline and the first 750 fans will receive a free Capelli Sport Lanyard.
On Wednesday, Sept. 19, it's Pups in Park Night where fans are invited to bring their dogs out to FNB Field. We're also welcoming the Harrisburg Young Professionals to that match against Louisville City FC.
Sept. 22, a Saturday, Penn FC will face future MLS club FC Cincinnati on Pink Night. The team will be wearing special pink shoelaces and warm-up tops. Additionally, that night will be E-Sports Night, with a FIFA tournament presented in conjunction with Harrisburg University.
The final home match in the month of September is set for Wednesday the 26th. That night will decide the winner of the Keystone Derby as the Blue and White will take on Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. We'll be giving away Highmark Slingslacks and there will be post-match fireworks.
Theme nights for our three home matches in October will be announced at a later date.
