MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (APRIL 18, 2014) - Friday's contest between the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Texas Rangers, and the Wilmington Blue Rocks has been postponed due to rain. The two teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 5:05 p.m. Both games will be seven-inning contests.

Fans with tickets to tonight's game can exchange those tickets for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any future Pelicans regular season game during the 2014 regular season or beyond, subject to availability. Tickets to Saturday's regularly scheduled contest will be good for both games of the doubleheader.

Luis Parra (2-0. 4.09 ERA) takes the ball for the Birds against the reigning Carolina League Pitcher of the Week, Wilmington's Christian Binford (1-0, 0.00 ERA) in game one. Game two will feature Victor Payano (0-1, 7.56 ERA) against Daniel Strumpf (0-2, 3.52 ERA). The game can be heard live on WRNN AM 1450 ESPN Myrtle Beach and on the TuneIn Radio App, with the Hampton Inn Pregame Show beginning at 4:45 p.m.
