Pee Dee Cyclones Announce Revised 2005/06 Schedule

The Pee Dee Cyclones of the Southern Professional Hockey League have released their revised 2005-2006 game schedule highlighted by ten Friday and nine Saturday home games at the Florence Civic Center. The remainder of the 28 game home schedule is made up of seven Thursday games and two Tuesday games. The Southern Professional Hockey League has made a couple of adjustments to the Cyclones schedule. The team has added an additional Friday night home game on November 18th against Knoxville and a road game in Huntsville, Alabama on February 18th. These games replace an original road game on November 18th and a home game on Tuesday, January 3rd.
The new franchise will begin their inaugural year on the road with three out of town contests starting on Friday, October 21st in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The Cyclones will also play in Fayetteville on Saturday, October 22nd before wrapping up the road trip in Jacksonville on Thursday, October 27th.
The Cyclones home opening weekend at the Florence Civic Center is Friday, October 28th against the Florida Seals and Saturday, October 29th against the Fayetteville FireAntz. All Cyclones home games will begin at 7:05PM this year and parking will be free at all home games at the Florence Civic Center. The Cyclones brand new web site will also be unveiled later this week.
The SPHL consists of seven teams; Columbus (GA) Cottonmouths, Fayetteville (NC) FireAntz, Florida (Kissimmee) Seals, Huntsville (AL) Havoc, Jacksonville (FL) Barracudas, Knoxville (TN) Ice Bears, and the Pee Dee Cyclones. The Cyclones will play interstate rival Fayetteville a total of twelve times including six games at the Florence Civic Center.
Season tickets for the Pee Dee Cyclones 2005-06 inaugural season at the Florence Civic Center are on sale at the Cyclones office or by calling 843-432-1234.
