Pearls announce dance team tryouts

Baltimore Pearls News Release


Baltimore, MD. The ABA Baltimore Pearls will host its Dance Team Tryouts on Saturday, September 9yth at Overlea High School Gymnasium, 5401 Kernwood Avenue in Baltimore. Registration will begin at 12noon-1pm with tryouts beginning at 1pm. All ladies coming out to audition must be sure to adhere to the following requirements:

* You must be 18 years or older by September 9th - please bring photo ID
* You must have previous dance training in jazz or hip hop
* You must have dependable transportation to rehearsals, games and appearances
* You must have a flexible schedule and the ability to commit to the rehearsal schedule which includes, but is not limited to attendance at ALL rehearsals, all designated games and appears for ONE FULL YEAR.
* You must bring a headshot and resume to the audition.

Audition attire:

* Please wear flattering dance or workout attire, including sneakers or other dance shoes.
* Hair and makeup should be sophisticated and glamorous (just like game day)
* Bring kneepads

What We are Looking for:

* Energy, Showmanship and Enthusiasm
* Professionalism
* Dance technique and style
* Ability to pick up choreography
* Teamwork skills
* Positive attitude
* Physical fitness and personal appearance
* Ability to commit to the Baltimore Pearls Dance Team for ONE FULL YEAR.
