PBL Minnesota Ripknees Host Player Tryouts

(Chicago, IL)...The Minnesota Ripknees will be hosting team tryouts for their inaugural season in the Premier Basketball League the weekend of Saturday, August 25 and Sunday, August 26, 2007.

The tryouts will be held at 43 Hoops in Hopkins, Minnesota, located at 1002 2nd Street NE. Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, with the tryout camp beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day. The cost for the two-day tryout is $100. The PBL will begin regular season play in late December of 2007 and conclude with Championship Playoffs in 2008. The Ripknees will play at the 4,500-seat Roy Wilkins Arena in downtown St. Paul, located next to the Excel Energy Center.
