Regina Pats News Release

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club has announced they have acquired an eighth-round pick in the 2020 WHL Bantam Draft from the Calgary Hitmen in exchange for 18-year-old forward Blake Allan. There is a condition on the pick, in which it could be upgraded to a seventh-round selection in 2020.

"We wish Blake all the best in Calgary," said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock. "He is a quality person and we appreciate his contributions to our team over the last year."

Allan was acquired by the Pats from the Kootenay ICE in January of 2019. He appeared in 38 games with Regina, scoring one goal and adding two assists.

The Pats are back in action on Sunday for the 2019 Prairie Classic outdoors at Mosaic Stadium. Puck drop against the Calgary Hitmen is at 2 p.m. and tickets are available at reginapats.com.
