Pats Defeat ICE 5-4 in Shootout

Regina, SK - The Regina Pats completed a come-from-behind victory in a 5-4 shootout win over the Kootenay ICE at Brandt Centre on Wednesday night.

The ICE scored the first four goals of the game. Jakin Smallwood, Jaeger White, Connor McClennon and Brad Ginnell scored for the ICE. Goaltender Jesse Makaj blocked 21-of-25 shots during the game and stopped 3-of-5 in the shootout.

The Pats got goals from Brady Pouteau, Brett Clayton, Carter Massier and Logan Nijhoff. Garrett Wright scored the shootout winner. Pats starting goaltender Max Paddock blocked 18-of-22 shots before Dean McNabb would enter the game. McNabb stopped all 13 shots he faced during the game and 4-of-5 in the shootout. He also received first star honours.
