
Patroons Start CBA Winning Ways on the Road

The Patroons started their second and one of the longest CBA road trips of the season with a win today over the Minot SkyRockets, 100 to 80 at the Launchpad Arena in Minot , ND before a crowd of 1450.
The Patroons, who led by 1 at the half, dominated the second half, taking 6 of 7 standing points when it was over. Newcomer Harvey Thomas led the scoring with 29 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and treated the home town crowd to three impressive slams during the display. Four other Patroons who also finished in double figures were Rod Nealy with 24 points, 11 rebounds, Gabe Freeman with 14, JJ Sullinger with 14 while Shawn Fountain contributed 13 in this very solid road performance. The Patroons shooting percentage from the floor was 50%.
The Patroons are in action on the road again tomorrow night against the same Minot SkyRockets.
In other CBA action today, the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavs finished their three game sweep on the East Kentucky Miners, 78-71.
