Patroons Sign Willie Wallace

Albany, NY (September 27, 2007) - The Albany Patroons are pleased to announce the signing of Willie Wallace, a 6'8" Power Forward/ Center who played for a Top 100 Division 1 program.
Willie Wallace began his college career at Central Michigan University, where he played for a year and then completed his eligibility at the University of Detroit-Mercy. Wallace started in 59 of 60 games his Junior and Senior year. After graduation Wallace signed with the Brevard Blue Ducks (USBL) and saw action in 15 games before signing with Jamtland Basketball in Sweden. His next move was to the ABA where he played with the Detroit Wheels and then the Detroit Panthers.
Prior to signing with the Albany Patroons Wallace played from March to August of 2007 in the Dominican Republic.
