Patroons sign center Malone

Albany, NY - January 3, 2008 - The Albany Patroons have recently added Gordon Malone to their roster.
Gordon is a 6'10" Center out of West Virginia University. He was drafted by the 1997 Minnesota Timberwolves in the 2nd round. Gordon has had playing experience in the CBA (Sioux Falls Skyforce), USBL (Brooklyn Kings), IBL, IBA, ABA (Tampa Bay ThunderDawgs) and several European leagues. He has recently played for the 2006-2007 Harlem Globetrotters, the 2007 Brooklyn Kings (USBL) and the 2007 Strong Island Sound (ABA).
Malone will be dressed for tomorrow night's game at the Washington Avenue Armory as the Albany Patroons host the Pittsburgh Xplosion at 7:35 PM.
The Patroons have placed Center Will Bowers on Injured Reserve and have waived Forward Tom Sadler.
