At the conclusion of the CBA College Draft, Head Coach Derrick Rowland stated, " The CBA Draft was very good to the Patroons. We have selected some talented players to come to Albany. We're ready for a winning season."

"The Patroons have selected some exciting players in this year's draft. We have had great success with #1 draft choices such as TJ Thompson. This year's pick, Michael Jenkins, fits into that same mold, a leader on the floor with Winthrop and NCAA Tourny experience. THis rookie should blend in well with a host of CBA All-Stars waiting to be signed by the Patroons," said General Manager, Jim Coyne.
