2008 CBA Draft to take place tonight

ALBANY, NY (September 23, 2008) - The Continental Basketball Association will have their 23rd Annual Draft tonight. The CBA Draft will again be webcast through Web Television Network.

The CBA Draft will take place tonight, Tuesday, September 23 and be webcast live from the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany starting at 8:00 PM EST. Fans can log on to the CBA Website (www.cbahoopsonline.com) or Web Television Network (www.webtelevisionnetwork.com) to follow all of the Draft action. Every selection will be updated as it happens, and the final results will be posted when the draft has concluded.

The CBA Draft will consist of six rounds and a total of 30 players will be drafted. The Albany Patroons will make the first selection in the 23rd annual draft. The CBA Draft is open to all players who have exhausted their college eligibility and were eligible for the NBA Draft this past June. CBA Commissioner Dennis Truax will serve as the moderator for the CBA Draft with CBA Director of Scouting Mark Argenziano and Director of Player Personnel Jeff Argenziano providing commentary on the Draft.
