Patroons Add Timberlake, Williams and Miller to Roster

Albany, NY (October 10, 2007) - The Albany Patroons are pleased to announce the addition of Chad Timberlake, Jason Williams and Jamaal Miller to the 2007 - 2008 roster.
Chad Timberlake is a 6'4" Guard and 2006 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Timberlake earned several awards throughout his college career, including 2002 NEC Rookie Team, 2006 First Team NEC, 2006 NEC Unanimous Player of the Year and 2006 All-American Honorable Mention. Prior to joining the Patroons, Timberlake played in the Czech Republic from October 2006 to May 2007.
Jason Williams, a 6'7" Forward played four season at Radford University. As a junior he was Big South Player of the Year, averaging 18.1 points a game (19 ppg. in conference play) and 6.5 rebounds a game. Williams went on to play in the ABA for the Maryland Nighthawks. Then, he starred in the Chinese Basketball League for the Henan Dragons. Prior to joining the Patroons, Williams played in the Dominican Republic for Los Cocolos of Lidoba.
Jamaal Miller, a 6'2" Guard, starred for two seasons at Green River Community College where he averaged 25.5 points per game, 8.3 assists per game and was named an all-Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges First Team Selection. He went on to play in the ABA and averaged 24 points and 8 assists for the Tacoma Navigators. He was named the ABA Rookie of the Year. In 2006 - 2007 Miller played overseas in Romania averaging 31 ppg and he set the record of the championship, being the only player to reach +40 points in 2 games in a row. Prior to joining the Patroons, Miller played in the IBL for the Everett Explosion from May to August of 2007.
