
Paquette suspended one game

BOUCHERVILLE, Thursday, November 8, 2007 - The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's disciplinary committee today imposed a one-game suspension to Lewiston MAINEiacs forward Danick Paquette. The suspension follows an incident that occurred during last Tuesday's game against the Halifax Mooseheads in which Paquette hit an opponent on the head.
The decision was rendered after reviewing the videotape of the incident and consulting all concerned parties. The suspension is in effect as of today.
In accordance with the QMJHL policy in the matter of disciplinary sanctions, the disciplinary committee will not be available for further comment.
