
Padres to Hold Open Tryout Thursday

SAN ANTONIO - Have you ever wanted to play professional baseball for the San Diego Padres or San Antonio Missions? The Padres will hold an open tryout in San Antonio on Thursday, June 18th at Wolff Stadium. The tryout is open to anyone ages 16-21, with registration beginning at 8:00 am on the 18th.
Padres area scout Tim Holt will manage the day's activities. Players will be tested on their 60-yard dash time, and will take batting practice and infield. Tryouts will begin promptly at 8:30 am, and will run all day. The age limit is strictly enforced, no exceptions. Any additional questions about can be answered by the staff on site.
