P-Rays can't complete sweep
August 18, 2005 - Appalachian League (ApL)
Princeton WhistlePigs News Release
The Kingsport Mets salvaged the third and final game of the series this afternoon. Princeton cut a 2-0 deficit in half in the second inning with a solo homer by Andrew Lopez. Ryan Royster had a RBI single in the sixth and one out later Chris Regan followed with a 2-run single to cut the margin to 5-4. However, that was as close as the P-Rays would get. After an off day tomorrow, the Rays travel to Danville to play the division leading Braves.
