August 15, 2004 - Appalachian League (ApL)
Princeton WhistlePigs News Release
The Devil Rays lost the first game of a three game series this afternoon to the Danville Braves 4-3. Even though the Braves didn't score again after the 1st, it was enough to get the victory. Danville got 4 runs on 2 hits and 1 error in the first. The Rays got one back in the second on a solo homerun by Craig Markel. Princeton scored again in the fourth when Robbie Bouman singled home J.T. Hall. Hall scored again in the sixth on a single by Markel. That got the Rays within one, but they were not able to get anymore across the plate.
