P-Bruins Fall To Devils 3-0

Lowell, MA - The Providence Bruins fell to the Lowell Devils 3-0 Saturday evening at the Tsongas Arena. The P-Bruins return to action at home at the Dunkin' Donuts Center Sunday at 4:05 p.m. for a Family Game against the Hershey Bears.

The Devils took a 1-0 lead at the 17:38 mark of the opening period. Ben Walter tallied his third goal of the season, while Nathan Perkovich and Vladimir Zharkov recorded the assists. Lowell grabbed a 2-0 advantage at the 18:51 mark. Patrick Davis scored unassisted, his second goal of the season. The Devils led 2-0 after the first period.

After a scoreless second period, the Devils made it 3-0 at the 4:12 mark of the third period. Perkovich netted his second goal of the season, while Zharkov and Matthew Corrente picked up the assists. Lowell went on to the 3-0 victory.

Matt Dalton stopped 26 of 29 shots for the P-Bruins, while Jeff Frazee made 28 saves for the Devils. The P-Bruins were 0-for-1 on the power play and 1-for-1 on the penalty kill.

The P-Bruins wrap up the weekend at home at The Dunk Sunday against the Bears for a Family Game at 4:05 p.m. Receive one ticket, hot dog and soda for one low price.
