Mississauga, ON - The Mississauga St. Michael's Majors are pleased to announce that tickets to the 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship exhibition game between Team Canada and Team Finland on Sunday, December 21 at 7 p.m. are now 80% sold out. So fans, here's your last chance to purchase tickets before they run out!
Save on Ticketmaster service fees, handling charges and receive your tickets on the day of your purchase by visiting www.stmichaelsmajors.com to download a copy of the IIHF World Junior Championship ticket request form. Fax your completed form to the Majors office at 905-502-0169, or drop it off at the Majors office located at 5500 Rose Cherry Place, during regular business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The Majors are looking forward to presenting this special game at the Hershey Centre, in partnership with Hockey Canada and the City of Mississauga. Mississauga is one of the 9 host-locations chosen in Ontario to hold a 2009 IIHF World Junior Championship exhibition game, leading up to the opening day of the tournament in the nation's capital.
The tournament will also see Dave Cameron, General Manager and Head Coach of the Majors, serving behind the bench as Assistant Coach, alongside Pat Quinn (Head Coach), Guy Boucher (Assistant Coach) and Willie Desjardins (Assisstant Coach).
A selection camp for over 35 Team Canada hopefuls will be held by Hockey Canada in Ottawa from December 11 to 15. Teams will be participating in their exhibition games before moving to Ottawa to begin the tournament. The 31-game schedule sees Canada open on December 26 against the Czech Republic at 7:30 p.m.

Mississauga will continue their homestand this Friday night in regular season action, when they host the Peterborough Petes at 7:30 p.m.
