Ovations offers fundraising opportunities
May 4, 2004 - Pacific Coast League (PCL1)
Fresno Grizzlies News Release
FRESNO â Ovations Food Services, the food service provider at Grizzlies Stadium, is proud to announce the opportunity for nonprofit groups to raise money for their organizations through volunteer programs at Grizzlies' games.
Grizzlies Stadium offers many food service locations to work including six permanent concession stands as well as 17 portable carts along the concourse. These options give groups flexibility in both the number of volunteers they provide and location which groups serve.
After a brief training session, groups will work with staffing coordinators to pick both the dates and location of concession stands that the groups will be responsible for. The amount of time that the group works all depends upon their financial needs and goals.
So far this season there are already groups who are returning from last year, as well as many new organizations looking to raise money through their volunteer efforts.
The Ovations' staff is available to give Non Profit group a tour of the stadium so they can learn more about the opportunities that exist at Grizzlies Stadium. Ovations Food Services can be reached at (559) 320-2567 or through e-mail at concession1@fresnogrizzlies.com.
