Williamsport Outlaws News Release
Wayne, N.J. - On Friday, September 16th at the Capital One Ice Vault in Wayne, New Jersey, Outlaws' Team President Chris Firriolo announced the signing of standout forward Brett Liscomb.
Liscomb, a Long Sault, ON native, played in 52 games last season for the Pensacola Ice Flyers of the Southern Professional Hockey League where he recorded 50 points (18 goals, 32 assists) and 36 penalty minutes.
Prior to arriving to Pensacola, the 5'9 185lb forward played for the Huntsville Havoc where he captured the 2009-2010 Southern Professional Hockey League's President Cup Championship along side fellow Outlaws' teammates Travis Kauffeldt, Billy McCreary and Dan McWhinney. Before arriving to the Southern Professional Hockey League, Liscomb played for the Dayton Bombers of the East Coast Hockey League and the Tulsa Oilers of the Central Hockey League.
"Brett is a very skilled player that will add a lot of scoring punch to our offense," said Outlaws' Team President Chris Firriolo. "He had a great season last year in the SPHL and played a huge role down the stretch two years ago in Huntsville as they captured a championship. That experience alone will give our club a chance to win each night."
Before turning professional, Liscomb played in the Ontario Hockey League for the Windsor Spitfires and Ottawa 67s along with NHL players Jamie McGinn and Logan Couture of the San Jose Sharks. In 232 games in the OHL, Liscomb scored 66 goals, recorded 93 assists for 159 points while racking up 257 career penalty minutes
