North Iowa Outlaws News Release
Mason City (IA) Starting next weekend millions from coast to coast will begin the migration to celebrate the season and come this Saturday night, a number of former North Iowa Outlaws are expected to be coming home for the holidays, as in their former hockey home of Mason City.
The North Iowa Outlaws have announced that they will be retiring the jerseys of former players Matt Morin, Max Mobley and Ross Ring-Jarvi prior to the game Saturday December 20th against the Albert Lea Thunder. Opening face-off is scheduled for 8pm with the ceremony scheduled for 7:55pm. Morin, Mobley and Ring-Jarvi all started with the Outlaws during the inaugural 2005-2006 season and played three seasons.
These are the first three jerseys to be retired in team history, though former defenseman Chris Giebe has his World Junior Tournament #6 jersey hanging from his time with the German National Team.
Mobley is currently playing for Division I St. Lawrence University while Morin and Ring-Jarvi are at the Division III level. Morin is at UW-Stout and Ring-Jarvi is skating for Gustavus-Adolphus.
"We are excited to be able to honor these players for their commitment to the program and serving as symbols for what we are trying to do with this team" said Outlaws' head coach Jeff Crouse, who served as an assistant with the team the previous three seasons.

Fans will have a chance take home a piece of history on Saturday as the Outlaws' will be auctioning one jersey signed by all three players. The silent auction will begin at $300 and go throughout the game.
Along with these three, the Outlaws are also expecting a number of other former players to be in attendance to see their former teammates receive this honor.
