
Outlaws Ink Radio Deal; Re-Sign 2 Defensive Stars

Billings Outlaws News Release
The Billings Outlaws have signed with Clear Channel Radio for the 2004 season. All of the Outlaws' road games and four of the seven home games will be broadcast on KBUL 970 AM. "We are excited to be able to offer all of our road games to our loyal fans, this will help people follow the Outlaws every week of the 2004 Season," said Duane Anderson, Owner.
The Outlaws have also announced the re-signing of 2 stars from last year's defense. Former University of Montana standout Andy Petek will return for 2004. Petek was one of the top defensive players in the league last season with 80 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles. "Andy was a solid player last year and he will be a great contributor with his athletic skills and leadership ability," said Dan Maciejczak, head coach.
Travis Salter will also return for a second season with the Outlaws. Salter was aslo among the league's leaders with 88 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and 3 interceptions returning 2 for touchdowns. Travis brings a high level of intensity to the field every night, and will be looked upon to put constant pressure on opposing offenses," said Maciejczak.
