Ouellette Scores But Limpright Hat Trick Carries Arizona

Prescott Valley, Az. - Travis Ouellette scored the lone goal for the Chill while the Sundogs were paced by Shawn Limpright's hat trick en-route to a 5-1 win on Saturday night.

The opening period saw back and forth action as the two teams hit the ice for the second straight night. Arizona (28-26-6) got the scoring started in the first period on a goal from David Rutherford at the 6:34 mark and the score would stand into the first intermission.

The Sundogs turned up the offensive pressure in the second period, outshooting the Chill 21-8 while building their lead to 4-0 with a goal from Brandon Coccimiglio and a pair from Shawn Limpright. The score would stand through the second period before St. Charles (11-42-6) got on the scoreboard early in the third.

Ouellette picked up his sixth goal at the 5:36 mark of the third on assists from Jordan Fox and John Snowden as the period got more physical as the Chill tried to battle back. Limpright netted his third goal with under seven minutes left and the Sundogs would hold on to win 5-1.
