Thursday, June 5, the Kalamazoo Kings and Evansville Otters played the final game of the three game series at Stryker field. Jason Biddlestone started on the mound for the Kings in effort to capture his first win of the year, and starting on the hill for the Otters was Matt Incinelli. Winning pitcher Matt Incinelli proved to be too much for the Kings in the ballgame, striking out 7 batters over 8 innings, allowing 0 runs, and 6 hits, as the Otters win 3-0.

Leading the charge on offense for the Otters was ninth batter Carlos Brackley. Brackley went 3-4 scoring once and driving in 1 of the Otters 3 runs. In the losing effort for the Kings, Jason Biddlestone pitched very well striking out 6 batters over 6 and 2/3 innings, allowing 3 runs (1 unearned). Relieving Biddlestone in the seventh was Lee Naplin. Naplin pitched 2 1/3 innings allowing 0 runs on 1 hit. The Kings offense was lead once again by leadoff batter Mark Morris. Morris went 2-4 with a double and a single, and 4 others kings added 1 hit each in the 3-0 loss to Evansville.
